HOPKINTON REASSESSMENT PROJECT
Town of Hopkinton Reassessment Project- Public Update Meeting
Hopkinton, NY — In an effort to maintain a fair and equitable tax assessment roll, Hopkinton
has contracted RealView Appraisers, LLC (RealView) to conduct a town-wide revaluation. The
firm is coordinating with the Town and Assessor, Robert Ball, to deliver an updated tax roll at
100% of current market value. Hopkinton’s most recent town-wide reassessment was completed
in 2019.
To ensure property owners are well informed, a public meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on
February 25, 2025, at Hopkinton Town Hall. RealView, the firm contracted for the project,
will lead the meeting, providing an update on the project, overview of the reassessment process,
and a timeline outlining the next steps for the residential and commercial property owners.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions or obtain clarification regarding the
project.
Residents who are unable to attend the meeting but have questions can contact the Assessor. The

PUBLIC HEARING
Please take notice that two local laws have been introduced by the Town Board of the Town of Hopkinton. The purpose of Proposed Local Law 1 of 2026 is to repeal Local Law 1 of 2005, which established Grievance Day as the first Tuesday in June. The purpose of Local Law Two is to change Grievance Day to the first Thursday in June.
Please take notice that a public hearing upon the two proposed local laws will be held at the Hopkinton Town Hall, Hopkinton, NY, on February 9, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. and that an opportunity to be heard in regards thereto will then and there be given to those favoring passage of such proposed local laws and to those opposed thereto.
Please take notice that the regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Hopkinton will immediately follow the adjournment of the Public Hearing.
The meetings are open to the public and the public is encouraged to attend.
